Søtt+Salt Restaurant, Sweet + Salt restaurant, Bergen, NorwaySøtt + Salt (or Sweet + Salt) is a restaurant in Skostredet of Norway where you can have continental or Norwegian food. The restaurant guarantees an intimate & unique food experience that you enjoy right in the middle of kitchen where food is prepared just 2 meters away from the table. The restaurant has arrangements on a table for 6-16 people and people usually visit in the evening with family, friends and business associates to have food or drinks. They serve 4, 5 or 6 courses dinner which includes grilled scallops, spring asparagus with bacon cream, salma sweet + salt, halibut with king-risoni, chicken breast, strawberries & Rabarbra. They call their experience 'Almost a chef for a day' where they tell you secrets of the Norwegian food while you sit around the kitchen and observe and ask questions. The restaurant picks its raw food from seas, forests, soils, rivers & lakes and wants you to finish your dinner with something sweet. Frode, the restaurant's main chef, was named Young Chef of the Year 2002 in Norway and the Year 2004's Seafood Chef in 2004.
 
The restaurant is quite famous for its grill menu during spring & summers and can easily arrange for a barbecue party for friends, companies that hold summer parties or people who simply want good quality barbecue. The grill menu of Søtt+Salt Restaurant includes marinated beef, pork, coriander, grilled trout, mussels vapour, foccacia, aioli, Italian salad, French fries, fish, shellfish, grilled asparagus, tomato salad and heart salad.

Søtt+Salt Restaurant is also known for Spanish tapas courses, food with friends, chocolate courses, fish & shellfish. Tapas are basically the snacks served at bars in Spain. Søtt+Salt does outdoor catering with their mobile kitchen, steam furnaces & other advanced equipments.
 
They also have a boutique wherefrom you can purchase utensils, cutlery, chocolates, coffee machines, olives, oils, vinegar, spices, pots & wine glasses in the daytime and which is transformed into a small restaurant in the evenings.
